Reference standard Type ‘R’ & ‘S’ thermocouples are made from High purity reference grade platinum and platinum rhodium alloy. It covers Temperature range up to 1500°C. It is commonly used as reference standard to calibrate Industrial thermocouples. This sensors are assembled with 6mm OD, 450mm or 600mm long gas tight 99.7% high Alumina sheath. This type thermocouples, besides the low ageing drift, also offers the advantage of a low basic tolerance value.
